    More Information about NCVC

Because we are dedicated to advancing amateur competitive cycling, membership in NCVC is open to any individual who will agree to abide by and uphold our constitution, bylaws, and club procedures, as well as represent our sponsors in the best possible manner. Our club prides itself on its members contributing to its success both on and off the bike, so you will be expected to volunteer for our various race, ride, sponsor, or charity event promotion efforts. You need no prior race experience to join, although it does help to be an avid rider with the desire to race your bike.

Various club members offer group rides at varying times and days throughout the year, but our main effort in group riding and racing education goes on between October and March (the off season for road racing). We offer rides that focuses on teaching what racing and fast riding are all about as well as rides that are just for building fitness and club cohesion.

All you need to do to get an application is click on the name of the rider representative in your geographic or interest (junior under 18 or female rider) area and arrange to meet with him or her to ride with us and get all the information you can handle. After the meeting/ride the representative will be happy to provide you with an application that you will mail via US Postal to our membership coordinator along with your membership fee. After we receive your application, you will be contacted by the membership coordinator welcoming you to the club and giving you all the details for connecting to our listservs and pertinent news about upcoming clothing and equipment purchases.

Our clothing and equipment purchases occur in mid-Winter and late summer so joining before those happen will provide you with the best opportunity to get fully involved in the identity and benefits of membership in NCVC.
